• I'm just guessing but I have seen DVI ports on older TVs. So you might need a DVI to HDMI cable. The DVI plug has 2 screw in pins, one on each side and a plug with a pins in the middle. The HDMI is the new plug.

• The BDP s3700 just uses a standard HDMI cable. Im not sure which port your old unit uses, display port maybe?
