I purchased two of these to upgrade a couple of DVD players that we have had for several years, I read the boxes but did not read any reviews on line. Once we got one of them hooked up at home I was disappointed in the apps that were part of the package. The HULU and VUDU apps no longer worked and had expired, I check to see if a firmware update was needed and it said it was not. I am returning the other one and will tolerate the other. If you are buying this Blu-Ray player to use mainly for streaming I would looked for others, this one does not work well for that. This is my opinion of course, do your reviews and read what others have to say but I was disappointed. A better idea may be to get a Chrome cast device and stream from your cell phone or tablet if you have one.
