A:AnswerHi LORDVADER, The Miracast screen mirroring function is designed to work with a mobile device running on Android 8.0 (Oreo). Using a newer Android version is not guaranteed to work. ~Ralph
A:AnswerYes. it does. Once you plug it up it will tell you steps to do to get it loaded with all the pre-set apps. Netflix is one of them. This is the reason we purchased this model for the Netflix app that is pre-set on it.
A:AnswerIt should if you have an HDMI connector on the back and are able to switch your TV Video Input "Source" to "HDMI 1" or what ever input you have this unit connected to. This DVD provides a Video Source same as Cable, DVD/VCR, etc. You must have a WiFi source in order for this DVD player to connect to your internet. Of course not required if you just want to play DVDs.
A:AnswerHi Sheema,
Aside from playing CD, DVD and Bluray discs, this unit has the capability to connect to the internet to stream applications like Netflix, Amazon prime, Hulu, etc. You can check this link for additional information about the unit. Thanks!

A:AnswerHi dakotagirl, There is no option for shortening the response time. You can try to do a power reset if the unit is experiencing a delayed response. Please refer to the link for the power reset procedure. Thanks! https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/audio-video/articles/00175201

A:AnswerHi Steveo, A hotspot is limited to a certain speed by the operators. Therefore, the required speed by the streaming device is not met. Additionally, Sony products that support Internet connectivity are designed to work with cable or DSL high-speed networks.

Erin
A:AnswerNo, this player MUST be attached to a TV via HDMI for it to work. Now, if you've got a receiver that is "Bluetooth" or WiFi then there's a possibility, but no guarantee. Hope this helps ...
A:AnswerHi Johnny, No, it's not supported by the remote. You may refer to page 13 of this link:
