• A:Answer Hi Jeff, The unit is not designed to be used as a hotspot. It won't share Internet connection to another device. We currently don't have Blu-ray/DVD players that can be used as a hotspot. ~Ralph

• A:Answer I don't believe these come as multi-region (or region-free) out of the box. The are set for the region you bought it in. If you want region-free, you have to buy it from a third party shop that provides that service.
