Do you need a receiver to hook this up,? null

I did not need a receiver to hook the Sony streaming Blu-ray Disc player up. Plugged straight into the tv. Also, I do not do streaming with my set up. It works fine with my new Samsung 4-K tv.

All you need is a TV like Sony Bravia. All the cables and cords come with.
