Is the Sony - UBP-X800M2 multi-regional? null

I'm pretty sure the answer is no. That's what the sales guy told me when I asked, and I think he also said that none of the devices Best Buy sells are region free. This actually makes sense if you consider the desires of the studios and distributors whose movies Best Buy also sells.

No, the x800m2 sold by Best Buy is only Bluray region A and DVD region 1. I think all 4K UHD Bluray are region free. I f you want a region free DVD and region free Bluray to need to find a different vendor or different player.
