• Yes sony has video & tv Sideview and work just fine you just have to be at same wifi and pair at first your phone gonna display the same layout bottom of the remote works for the tvs and the receiver in my case dn1080

• I checked for you on Google and Apple apps. The listed apps are not created by Sony and unfortunately have not so good reviews.

• I'm not sure about it having its own app, but some receivers (like my Marantz) can control the player from within their remote app, which I think is even better...
