• To the best of my knowledge this player will not play discs from other regions.

• I've read that 4K discs are not region coded, but I'm not sure if that's true, since I have not yet purchased any 4K discs, from any region. I have one Region B Blu-Ray, which this player could not, or would not play. Haven't had the time to see if it can be hacked to do it.
