Yes, it does. You can also edit this in the app I believe. I just turn on the speaker and then leave all around the house and it stays connected so I haven't tested the full range yet because I haven't had to but I know I've seen that setting in the app

To use it, the speaker must be plugged into an AC outlet using a USB PD compatible adapter. Once enabled via the Sony | Sound Connect app, the speaker will automatically power on and reconnect whenever you try to connect from a previously paired device. Thanks for choosing Sony.
