A:AnswerHi GEE!
Thanks for reaching out! We can certainly assist you with that.
The ULT FIELD 5 cannot pair or connect with the SRS-XB30. They use different technologies: the ULT FIELD 5 uses the Party Connect system, while the SRS-XB30 uses the Wireless Party Chain function.
To expand your sound, the ULT FIELD 5 needs another Party Connect enabled speaker, while the XB30 requires another Wireless Party Chain speaker.
You can find a list of compatible models for each function by visiting the links below:

Thank you for making Sony part of your purchasing consideration!

A:AnswerYes, it does. You can also edit this in the app I believe. I just turn on the speaker and then leave all around the house and it stays connected so I haven't tested the full range yet because I haven't had to but I know I've seen that setting in the app

A:AnswerHi Dan!
Thanks for your interest in our speaker. We're here to help.
The ULT FIELD 5 supports the Party Connect feature. However, the GTK-XB90 speaker uses a different system called Wireless Party Chain rather than Party Connect.
You cannot pair the SRS-ULT50 with the GTK-XB90 for synchronized playback using Party Connect. The two speakers use different linking technologies that are incompatible with each other.

A:AnswerHello Benny,
Thanks for the question. Regarding your concern, the ULT FIELD 5 only has a USB-C type port, and its for charging purposes exclusively. In order to play music on the device, you must stablish Bluetooth connection or connect a device through the 3.5 mm jack.
