• It is made for iPhone's so I don't know why not. I use an android and it paired up with it immediately. Really like this system!

• Yes you can, I was able to connect my IPad as well as Phone so it should work for Ipod as well.

• Hi LadyDi, below are the supported Bluetooth profiles of this speaker. If the Bluetooth profile of the third-party device is one of the listed below, then it should work.
