“Is this unit portable, can it be charged and used with out a power cord. If so how long would it run off a charge?”

• I run mine on a quality 50’ extension cord In my back yard all the time.

• No, this is not consider portable. That said you have to always connect it to an outlet. It's not to say it's hard to move where ever you want, as long as there is an outlet near by.
