I would download the Music Center which allows you to operate/adjust most feature your speaker has. I.e. custom Equalizer setting.

This is a normal operation and cannot be turned off. We recommend lowering the volume of the home audio system. To ensure an optimal listening experience, download the Sony Music Center app to adjust and control your sound settings to your preference. You can also raise or lower the levels of specific frequency bands, then store the setting in the memory as “CUSTOM EQ”.
