Try holding the Bluetooth button on the v71 till it's in pairing mode. I thought I had the same issue but I wasn't holding the Bluetooth button long enough. After at a get together I had a friend w a Sony s20 use it. I used it with a one plus. Another friend with a apple 11 and another friend with a note 10
