I have the old sony walkman 2gb mp3 player and when I click the turn off botton it doesn't turning off, it turning off after 1 or 2 hours if you do not use it again. Now because my son broke it I have to change it but I love the sony mp3 players, but I need something it turning off immediatly.”

holding down the Power off button for a few seconds will instant off the walkman, also the walkman has an auto power down feature to avoid unnecessary battery consumption, when this occurs press any button to turn the player back on on.
