I use a powered USB hub and an Anker PowerPort 4 phone charger to charge this device and I have absolutely no problem at all. As long as you have something that can charge a regular smart phone you should be able to hook this up to it and charge with no problem. Anywhere you charge a phone you should be able to charge this.

It's not a high powered device. You can pretty much charge it in any basic USB charger. I'd probably go for a 2.4A one just in case (which is 12W). But the Walkman port to USB cable will charge in anything with a USB port and delivers power. Battery backups are your friend here.
