Yes. You can shuffle on this MP3 player. I've had three of these over the last several years. It's a decent player; however the newer models seem more cheaply made and doesn't play as many formats as the earlier models. I play mine all day and the battery lasts throughout. I have around 2000 songs on it with room for more. This is a good purchase for those who don't want to clutter up their phones with music.
