Hi str, Unfortunately, the touch sensors of our WF-1000XM4 wireless earbud headphones cannot be turned off. You can only change the function assignments to the touch sensors of both the left and right units such as the music playback function using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. Thank you for your inquiry! I have no issues with the 2 sets I've purchased. Laying my head on a pillow doesn't affect my earbuds.
