Hi velo, thank you for inquiring about the WH-1000XM3. The cable length is approximately 3.94 ft. The Bluetooth will deactivate when the wire is plugged in, so you can use them wired or wireless. These fit over glasses and are comfortable too thanks to the pressure relieving earpads and adjustable headband. I hope this helps. Regards, Erin
