“hello i was considering purchasing last years model but i read numerous reviews mentioning that the touch controls would malfunction in cold weather has this issue been adressed?”

So far no issue on the touch control. But havent tested in cold weather. I guess the warranty will cover it.

No one really knows for sure as it is summer. But since Sony doesn't say anything about this, I guess it's safe to assume that the issue hasn't been really solved for now.
