Hi there, Thank you so much for your inquiry. May we know if you are referring to the connected device (TV or other devices) outputting audio to both the Headphones and its built-in speakers at the same time? If so, it will depend on the capability of the device. For the WH-1000XM4 it has a feature called Multipoint connection the headphones can switch easily between two audio sources without needing to go through the normal Bluetooth reconnection process. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on my experience, I would say no. Unless you have the headphones directly on, you won't hear much with them off, as the sound is almost "trapped" inside the user's ears.
