“When time will come to replace a battery, how to do it? The Guide says I should consult Sony Dealer about replacement. Do dealers have obligation to replace it?”

Technical knowledge is required to replace the built-in rechargeable battery, it is not recommended for customers to do replace the built-in rechargeable battery by themselves. We recommend contacting Authorized Dealers or Servicer to perform the battery replacement. -Erin

• I have not had a need to replace a battery. If and when I do, I will send it to Best Biuy to replace the battery.
