When you pick up the headphones off the tower the tower will turn on automatically. You will need to hold the on / off button on the headset until the green light comes on to complete the connection. to turn off you can push the on / off button on the headset and the green light will go out. You can also put the headphones back on the tower and the headphones will switch to recharge automatically and the headphone green light will change to red.
