Ca N you use these for tv listening null

My Sony Tv has bluetooth so yes, they can also be plugged in through a headphone jack. Roku Tvs also have an app remote control that allows you to use your phone to listen with headphones.

If I want sound from the TV speakers & the wireless headphone at same time, is this possible? I have hearing problems & want a higher volume than my wife wants.
