These headphones sound better in my opinion. I am a big fan of bose speakers by the way. I have bose Sound touch, bose Companion and bose soundlink speakers and love them. When it comes to the headphone, i like XM5 much better than Bose latest headphone.

Please try again later.Dollar for dollar Sony tends to have more innovations, like placing your hand on the ear cup, but Bose still has them beat in Noise Cancellation Quality. I personally would choose Sony over Bose any day just from the effort they put into innovating their products.
