“I have a tablet with low volume. People are saying this speaker is loud. My question is...how loud? I have a 60 foot long barn with 20 ft ceilings. Is it loud enough to fill that space while I'm working up there?”

Hi Warmblood! If you're looking to fill that sort of space, particularly with exposed wood (..assuming is like a more traditional barn), I'd recommend you invest in a larger speaker. This unit is great and I'm extremely happy with it from both a sound and quality perspective. That being said, it's attached to my golf bag and I'm usually on 20-30 ft. away. For that large of a space I'd be willing to bet you'd have the volume maxed out on this unit and would start to hear the distortion creep in. Better off going for a larger unit.

I can leave the speaker in my living room and I can hear it in the bedroom 30 ft away. If you upgrade to the next size the xb-21 which has 2 speakers, it can be party linked to a 100 speakers. But if you're going to spend more $80 dollar on just speakers you be better off buying a boom box.
