I'm pretty sure these will default back to normal Bluetooth transmission. You need both receiver and transmitter to be compatible with APTX in order to see any benefits. For best results with bluetooth speakers and TVs, I would get a transmitter and speaker that is compatible with APTX Low Latency. Qualcomm recommends a transmission of 40 ms or less in order to make sound and image synchronized.
