Yes, as mentioned, the lights are adjustable through the free downloadable SongPal app. Only it's now called (Sony) Music Center app. You'll have a bunch of options with the lights. Turning off is the first one. You can also adjust an equalizer through the app. I downloaded the app through Google's "Play Store".
