Hi! Wired headphones can vary, not even just by themselves, but also by whatever device they're connected to. Still, I understand what you mean, I just figured I'd make that clear. These do, in my opinion, have very good loudness capability. I'm using them right now with fairly loud rock/metal music, and I've turned it up fairly good. It sounds great; very nice, quite loud. I'm even able to make them a bit louder than my own comfort level of listening, and even more is possible, but I don't want to hurt my ears. In any case, no matter what I do, the quality sounds very good. I can most certainly say that lack of loudness isn't an issue with these at all. I recommend these.
