• Everything I've seen so far indicate that the mic is pretty much useless on this headphone. Because if that wasn't the case this would be a perfect headset.

• Yes, youll have to remove the right earpiece and place it near your mouth so they can hear you.

• I had not used the bluetooth on a call yet - just music - so I called my husband and he said I sounded just fine. If this is this case with all your calls I would exchange it. Maybe you got a bad one
