• Not for familiar with how your old ones work but these headphones connect wirelessly by Bluetooth to your other devices such as your laptop,tablet or your phone

• Not sure what you mean by "equipped with" but that is what wireless headphones do...they connect via bluetooth. You can not charge while using them.

• It most likely is similar. It comes with a USB and micro USB to recharge from a PC that is on that can charge and keep the internal headphone software updated.
