• This would not be the speaker you are looking for. You would need to find one that runs on battery or is rechargeable.

• The Sony XB60 is the one that can be recharge. 3 1/2 hours of high volume or 14 hours at a lower volume.

• I'd say invest in a long extension cord or get a portable converter you can plug into a car pretty cheap..
