Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would suggest that you check your cable box output settings. Unfortunately, most people are unaware that cable boxes may not be configured to output the proper settings for a 4K TV set. Make sure that the cable box is set to output the highest resolution possible. Also, be sure to use the HDMI output on the cable box. If your cable box does not have an HDMI output, call your cable company NOW and get one. Use HDMI cables when possible with all of your connections. Cable box, Blu-ray, Xbox One / PS4 etc. Once connected with the proper cables, check your picture settings and then tweak the settings to your liking. You can go to a number of TV ratings sites to get general picture settings and then start from there. If your set still exhibits drab colors and distortion, then consider replacing the unit. My gut feeling tells me that your issue likely stems from your video source. When connected to a Blu-ray and 4K source, this set looks pretty good. Do not be ashamed to ask a friend for assistance either. If you still have issues after that, then I will gladly take the set off of your hands as a gift. LOL. God Bless!
