• You probably have a bad connection. Mine works very fast when there is LTE coverage or at home on my fast wifi.

• Download speed depends on your service. (WiFi or cell service) not the phone.

• Hi Canoli44, I am using the same phone, but it takes only 2 seconds to download Instagram if you use Wifi connection. But it takes 5 seconds on LTE data. So I think there is another issue, so what I can recommend to upgrade your software. If still you have the same issue, please contact Sony Customer Service. Thank you...
