“This has already been asked, but not answered. When will the xz2 compact be in Best Buy stores so we can examine it and compare it to other phones before buying it? Seems like a simple enough question to get an answer to.”

They "use" to have it on display (i was able to see a Demo early October 2018). As of November 6, 2018 , the stores local to me have removed the XZ2 Compact from the stores to probably make room for the new XZ3. They still have the regular XZ2 on display however. If you are lucky they may still have the XZ2 Compact behind the counter if you ask (that was my case a few weeks ago)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went to the local Bestbuy in Salem, NH to do just what you are asking on Saturday 5/12/18. They had the XZ2 on display but not the XZ2 Compact. They had 1 XZ2 compact in stock. I bought it without even touching it. Haven't regretted it one second!!
