“I need a moderately priced set of head phones for my father to use when he watches TV. I know some headphones aren't for TV. What do I look for?”

Buy these!!! Sony MDRRF985RK Wireless RF Headphones. I purchased these for my dad, who is now older. These are very comfortable, easy to set up and perfect for the scenario you are looking for. Purchase a headphone set with a transmitter that connects to the TV and sends signal to the headphones.

This model is compatible with a tv, as long as your tv is Bluetooth capable

Check TV for Bluetooth capabilities and if so any of them should work just check the distance they can receive a signal.
