• Not sure, but it helps protect phone and makes it easier to use the phone.

• Not sure about the Presidio, but this replaced my Otter Box Commuter and is every bit as good for $10 less.

• To be quite honest this case is very tuff. My son is a teenage skater and he's always filming and dropping his phone and he always tells me; "Mom thanks for the case; this cases has saved my phone so many times", so I would assume it's tuff.
