The speakers are covered by the case but it does not affect the quality of the sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are spaces open on top that allow the speakers to project sound forward (toward the screen) instead of out away from the iPad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Small holes allow volume to clearly come out of speakers without loosening up the case structure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No actually the cut outs for all 4 speakers are aimed up towards you so to better direct sounds directly at you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There aren't cutouts for the speaker because it is made to project the sound forward rather than outward. It allows for a more stable inner case and is designed to focus the sound toward the user. It is personal opinion whether this is preferred over the cutouts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The case is a rip off for Pro 9.7 users since has no smart cover function for the Pro 9.7. The sound is piped forward through spaces in the case instead of cut outs on sides.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I ordered one, it is for the Air 1,2 - very disappointed since it was said to be for the 9.7 pro. returning
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There aren't any cutouts. This is an iPad Air case they are trying to rebrand as being for the Pro.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are no speaker holes.. which makes the speakers sound horrible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not block the speaker at all. Excellent sound and mic pickup with it.
