“Does the folio cover the speakers or make the on/off button harder to push? I bought the IPAD Pro for my 87 yr old mother? The louder sound is important as she is hard of hearing? Is there a folio that is better than this one for her?”

The case goes around the speakers to fully protect the ipad pro, but they have curved tunnels around each soeaker so it directs the sound towrd you. Only minor loss in sound quality, it is just as loud and still sounds great. All buttons are easily accessible and easy to press. I reccomend this case for sure
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It sort of covers the speakers but the case has a slight opening that redirects the sound out from the speakers. It works just fine on mine and sounds good. Also, the lock button is easy to access. The case is notched out where the button is and even my fat fingers have no problem pushing the button. If you are looking for a case with the pencil holder this works great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the folio for the ipad mini 4. It does make it a little harder to press the on/off button, however I don't think it's too bad. There are small holes on the bottom for the sound. I have not notice any difference in sound with the cover on.
