• I purchased this because I needed a case quickly, so the $24.99 wasn't an issue. And while the material (silicone and pvc I would assume) might cost "20 cents" somewhere in the world, the design, packaging, warranty, and markup all add up to the market price. Welcome to the Global Marketplace!

• Good question & you are probably right about the cost especially if made outside the U.S.A. It's not easy but try to buy only American made products even if they cost more.
