Yes the head does rotate I have this one and r2 d2

Yes. Among the many features offered: the third leg goes in & out, moves around, has “actions” (like happy beeps, “dancing”, stunned and fall over, etc), the lights...um, light up, makes sounds (different than the Sphero R2-D2), all controlled via the Sphero Droid app. The droids “watch” & respond to the Star Wars movies if they’re on, and can “talk” to each other (all through the app, but they have their own internal speakers.) Awesome toy!

Yes he does. Very cool. It interacts also while watching the movies too. I also recommend the force band. If you want a second droid go to their web site order a droid get a force band for free. But q5 is only an exclusive to Best Buy. Check out the toy makers site and join it they will send you offers. And they are great offers. Sphero.com.
