• A:Answer Yes it does, there are no openings aside from the lightning connector port at the bottom of the case that allows your lightning connector to pass through so you can charge. this case provides for all around protection and covering. It is not a two piece case like the Kate Spade models which have a separate cap that goes over the hinge part of the case. There is a significant cut out on those cases where the hinge part of the case exists.

• A:Answer No, this is simply a protective case for the Apple AirPods Pro first generation. There is no built-in lithium ion battery. However, there is a cut out for the lightning connector at the bottom of the case in addition to this case supporting QI wireless charging. You do not have to remove your AirPods Pro from this case in order to wirelessly charge. It will allow the wireless charging through the case and into the AirPods Pro case.
