Q: QuestionIf I buy the gift card and they don't want it can it be returned?

• A:Answer The Best Buy customer service employee at the store explained to me that the gift card can not be returned for a refund because the secret PIN had been revealed when I scratched it off the back of the gift card. However, they exchanged the card for a different one and it activated successfully. So the answer is a conditional "NO". You cannot return a gift card for a refund if the code on the back has been scratched off. I don't know the policy for a gift card that hasn't had the secret code revealed by "Lottery Ticket-like" scratch-off. I hope this helps.
