“How large is the actual cooking surface? I have an issue with staub 11" cast iron crepe pan not heating up evenly on a regular gas stove - there is hot spot in the center. Please remember, cooking surface of crepe pan very close to an actual size.”

The Community answer for this question is a Joke! The heating area cannot be 15", if this radiant heating Cooktop is only 12.25" wide per the listed Specs!!! The Item Description for this "Cooktsop" is also very poor!!! It should clearly explain what "radiant" heatting is and that this is NOT an induction heating Cooktop as many are confusing these two types of cooking units. Best Buy is not listing safety ratings like UL, Underwriters Labs, on ANY of its cooking appliances!
