Does it store bottled beer and if so how many? null

It will hold more, but I put in four six packs, two per shelf. The main reason is air circulation from the top mounted fan. A FYI, I keep my six packs in the six pack cardboard container which lets you pull out a pack and select, much easier than messing with the shelves.

This stores 12 ounce aluminum bottled beer and cans. The storage capacity is 56 aluminum bottles or 90 aluminum cans.
