• Hello! The Contactless and Chip Reader does not work with a laptop, but you can use the magstripe reader that comes with it on your laptop through Virtual Terminal. All devices require wifi or a personal hotspot to be able to accept credit card payments, and the Contactless and Chip Reader can also work with a tablet. :) Check to make sure your tablet is compatible here: squareup.com/compatibility
