“I know some squares take a certain percentage of what you sell per transaction. I know a couple have said they charge 2.6% which is crazy! Are there any other hidden fees I should know about? I do not want apple or any other company taking 10% of my sales”

We are a big square user, while there are fees they are still cheaper than if I had my bank process my CC transactions so we still come out ahead. Most importantly I don't have to worry about what card it is...the flat fee covers Visa, MC, Discover and XMEX! Well worth it in my humble opinion.

The processing rate for tapped, dipped, and swiped payments accepted in the Square Point of Sale app is 2.6% + 10¢. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, Square charges a fee (2.6% + $.10) for each transaction. 2.6% is NOT 10%, dude; looks like it's time for you to re-take 4th grade math! Apple isn't going to "take" ANY of your sales unless they're handling the payment processing (I'm not sure they even offer that service???). If you don't want to pay ANY fees for your sales, just take cash & checks. You can find all of Square's fees on their web site. Do you know how to use Google?
