Hey there! The Square system is utilized from a mobile app, and the chip reader connects via Bluetooth. The account doesn't require any kind of monthly fee, the only fees involved are the deposit fees when depositing the money from the Square app, to your direct bank account. The app is SUPER intuitive and offers tutorials to teach you how to set it up. But there are no monthly fees or percentages involved in using the item, or in doing transactions in the app.
