“Can we use SK 3A for a newer model dryer that recommends using SK 5A? We already have the older stacking kit for an older model washer that's just a few years old but we'd like to buy a new 7.3 cu ft dryer. The manual for that dryer says we need the stacking kit 5A.”

Thanks for the question. The SK-5A stacking kit actually comes with two sets of brackets, one set that's sized to fit many of the same models as the SK-3A, and another set that's compatible with other models that the SK-3A would not fit. It would be necessary to know which model you're considering in order to determine whether it would be compatible with the SK-3A brackets. - Ms. Samsung
