Thank you for the question. While it is helpful to have easy access to the drain, water and electrical supply, the placement of these items depends entirely on the layout of your laundry room. If your room allows, it may be helpful to have access to the water and drain on one side of the stacked units, with the electrical outlets on the opposite side since moving the washer and dryer to access behind them can be very difficult once they're stacked. I would suggest downloading copies of the washer and dryer user manuals from Samsung's website for more information on dimensions and installation requirements.
